Found in his Codex Atlanticus, this drawing is of a handbag sketched by Leonardo Da Vinci in or around 1497. In 2012, the drawing was lovingly crafted into a limited edition handbag by Italian company Gherardini.
Below is the purse by Da Vinci, and below that is an interpretation of it in a tattoo by Riq of Revolt Art Corps, Simi Valley, California.
And here's the Gherardini bag. 99 were made, and they sold out. We have no idea how much they went for, but suspect it was quite the pretty penny. Worth it, though!
