SPECIAL POST: Merle Norman Cosmetics Plastic Box Bags

One of the goals of The Vintage Purse Museum is to educate. In some cases, this means dispelling myths about certain types of vintage handbags. The two examples above are often sold as 1950s Lucite, however, they are 1970s plastic box bags that were sold as a purchase-with-purchase or gift-with-purchase by the Merle Norman Cosmetics company.
